We're a normal family that enjoys travelling. 'We' are David (that's me), Lesley (my long-suffering wife), Tabitha (my even more long-suffering daughter) and Kona, our dog.

We're neither backpackers nor (sadly) independently wealthy. We work as freelancers, either by writing or (in my case) web design.

Although we've lived in the UK, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa, we're currently in Mexico - did I mention we enjoy travelling?

There's so much to see and do here that we're having great fun exploring the Yucatan and Quintano Roo. Our blogs will mostly be about our day trips from our base in Merida.
